Beginners Clinic

Our Junior Development Clinics are run each year by an experienced, accredited coach.

The program is aimed at boys and girls between 5 & 11 years old, of all abilities, who want to learn to play basketball, without the pressure of joining a team.

Each clinic runs over a 4-week period during the school term. The hour-long classes are held on a Friday night at Berwick Secondary College, Manuka Road.

These clinics are designed to –

  • Teach children the basic skills of the game, and
  • Provide children with sufficient experience and skills to play in a boys’ or girls’ team in the season following the clinic (numbers permitting).

The cost is $40 which includes a basketball and a drink bottle.

Coaches Portal

All coaches have access to the Berwick Basketball Clubs Coaches Portal. This is an online resource that contains essential coaching information (important club documentation, coaching manuals & videos, etc.) for all levels of coaching. It is hosted at www.box.com – if you do not have an invitation to log on to this valuable online resource, please contact the Vice President of Coaching & Development or someone on our Player Development Group.

Once you receive an invitation to the Coaches Portal you will need to create an account with www.box.com to login. Use the same email address that the invitation was sent to when you create the account with box.com – then you will have access to all the coaching resources online at our Coaches Portal.
